Jane's Final Hurrah

In her final weekend as Ladies Captain, Jane Dawson organised a friendly get together of the ladies on Saturday 30th March.  A fourball betterball match followed by a few glasses of wine ended a great year as Captain for Jane who wished her successor Lynne Digby all the best for the coming year.

Winter Pairs

In the Winter Pairs Final, played on Saturday 30th March in windy conditions with a lot of water on the course following the recent heavy rain, Dave and Jim Loftus triumphed 2&1 in a close fought contest with Mark Moore and Sam Osborne.

Easter Pairs Report

The Easter Pairs was held on a cold and blustery Easter Monday.  26 pairs battled it out for the trophy and only one pair (who shall remain nameless) came in with a net over par score.  This was a great event with ladies, gentlemen and juniors all competing together with everyone perservering to complete their rounds even when the snow came.

Ian Bricknell and Paul Hetherington won with a fine net 48, Mark and Aaron Bowes were runners up with a net 51 (pictured l to r).

Annual Presentation Night

On Saturday Dec 1st we held our Annual Presentation night. It was very well attended and those present enjoyed a buffet after the prizegivings thanks to Gemma and the staff.
 
All competitions had been closely fought and special mentions must go to Vince Norris who picked up no less than 4 winners trophy's and to Richard and Christine Sharp who picked up the mixed pairs trophy in their first year as members and Christine's first year of playing
 
An excellent Karaoke was provided by Jim Loftus and Stella Morris at which two youngsters and the ladies stole the show
